ACROSS THE CARIBBEAN ON A CATAMARAN – carefree cruises, like sailing on the Masurian Lakes!!!

We welcome you to join us in our cruise in the magical Caribbean region.

If you only want, you can taste the Atlantic adventure and feel the thrill of fighting the elements of the ocean, while diving and sailing our yacht in full sail. If you only choose, the paradise life awaits.

Our catamaran, Leopard 42, is large and luxurious. Four cabins, each equipped with a private bathroom, living room, and spacious deck area. Each day, we can cruise two or three hours through peaceful and open waters in a comforting distance to the shore. The yacht is run by the fellow Polish captain, seasoned and steeped in local culture, who is an expert at customs, weather, cuisine, and all tourist attractions in the region. All you have to do is to relax, sitting in the bow or in the stern with a drink in one hand and a camera in the other. You dive. You swim. You bask in the sun. You visit the gorgeous islands. You taste Caribbean specialties.

Sailing along the British Virgin Islands means: the sun, the perfect blue skies, crystal-clear waters, breathtaking vistas, tropical coves, white sandy beaches, and pristine coral reefs, as well as excellent restaurants, friendly local bars, and Caribbean live music. The average temperature during the year is 77 F and the moderate winds almost always blow from the same direction, reaching the strength of 10-20 knots. The islands are in close vicinity to each other, and the sailing area is calm and free of large waves. It’s no surprise that the waters surrounding the Virgin Islands provide excellent sailing conditions and remain one of the favorite destinations of the most demanding yachters.

Believe it or not, amidst the customary and perpetual Caribbean repose and the prevalent cheerful mood of “Oh le le”, every minute is filled with so many experiences, stimuli, surprises, and exclamations, that the phrase “the cruise of the lifetime” instantly comes to mind. However, you won’t realize it until you come back home. There’s no time for such deliberations during the cruise. But there is a time to taste how it is to live your life deliberately...

The islands we will visit are: Tortola, Peter Island, Norman Island, Jost van Dyke, Cooper Island, Salt Island, Sandy Cay, Marina Cay, Virgin Gorda, and Anegada.

DAY 1

Landing at the island of Tortola. A 15 minute cab ride from Beef Island airport to a marina in Road Town, where our catamaran will be waiting for your arrival. Later that day, you will learn the nuts and bolts of our yacht, and during the welcome dinner, we will discuss the program of the cruise and basic sailing safety rules.

DAY 2

After breakfast, we will raise the sails and travel to the Sir Francis Drake Channel by Peter Island. We will cast anchor in Dead Man's Bay to take a swim, dive, and enjoy our lunch. Our next stop is the uninhabited Dead Chest Island, featured in a sea shanty: „Fifteen men on a dead man's chest.  Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum!” and from a distance, strikingly reminding one of a coffin. The infamous and vengeful English pirate, Blackbeard, left fifteen members of his crew stranded with one bottle of rum on that unwelcoming rock. There is no source of potable water on the island. Next, we will sail towards Norman Island - Treasure Island from Robert Stevenson’s renowned novel. A stop by „The Caves” to spend a quality time swimming and exploring the partially submerged caves where pirate treasure is believed to be hidden. We cast anchor in the Bight Bay and spend the night.

DAY 3

In the morning, we will snorkel by the nearby small archipelago of islets called the Indians. Snorkelling in that area is easy and captivating. The coral reef is full of beautiful and dazzling fish. It’s a perfect spot for you first encounter with the underwater world! Next, we will sail to the marina complex of Soper's Hole, located on the west coast of Tortola. We will have time for lunch and to replenish necessary supplies. In the afternoon, we will head towards Jost Van Dyke Island, named after a Dutch pirate who was a frequent guest to the area. Overnight stay in Little Harbor.

DAY 4

At the break of dawn, we will hike the highest mountain of Jost Van Dyke Island to enjoy the stunning panorama of the American and British Virgin Islands. Later, we will sail to the well-known, scenic White Bay with its gorgeous beaches, palm trees, and the acclaimed Soggy Dollar Bar. Right here, the famous Painkiller was born; a Caribbean way to allieviate human suffering. Painkiller is a „national” drink of the Virgin Islands, always worth a second shot... In the afternoon, we will sail to the beautiful and desert Sandy Cay islet. Time off for a refreshing swim and taking photos of the most charming corner of the Virgin Islands. We will spend the night in the Cane Garden Bay on Tortola.

DAY 5

After breakfast in the picturesque Cane Garden Bay, we will set our course for north to visit the tiny and colorful Marina Cay. You can savor amazing views of the nearby islands from a restaurant located in the hilly part of the islet. We will continute to head north, reaching the Dogs islands, which provide one of the best diving sites. We will cast anchor in Leverick Bay for the night and check out the store and restaurant run by the famous Pusser’s company that produces the best rum on the planet (they were supplying the sailors of the Royal Navy for over 300 years).

DAY 6

After breakfast, we will sail north towards Anegada island, the flattest of all the Virgin Islands (reaching only 7 meters above the sea level) and surrounded by large coral reef. The most popular attractions of that place is the pink flamingo breeding colony, wild iguanas, and the best lobster in the Caribbean. A walk around the island and a delightful afternoon on the Loblolly Beach, swimming and snorkelling in a crystal clear, warm shore water. In the evening, lobster dinner in a local restaurant.

DAY 7

In the morning, we will travel south, to Virgin Gorda island. A stop on the way by the Necker Island, which belongs to Richard Branson, the owner of Virgin Atlantic Airways. Night anchorage in a bay by the Bitter End Yacht Club. For those interested, there is an option to rent a windsurfing board or a small, beach catamaran and sail around the cove. There will also be yet another chance to visit local bars and go shopping.

DAY 8

We leave the Bitter End Yacht Club behind to sail south. In the afternoon, we will stop at one of the biggest attractions of the British Virgin Islands, the Bath. This the most picturesque and stunning beach in the Carribean, boasting beautiful palm trees and rock formations that, according to some, are nothing else but meteors. After an enthralling stroll along the beach, a relaxing swim, and a chance to snorkel, we will travel to Spanish Town marina on Virgin Gorda island where we will stay for the night.

DAY 9

After leaving Spanish Town marina, we will head farther south. A stop for a swim at a gorgeous beach by Trunk Bay. In the afternoon, we cast anchor in Manchioneel Bay on Cooper Island (the bay was named after the tree with poisonous, green apples), where we stay for the night. Afternoon leisure time with a drink in the Cooper Island Beach Club, and later, swimming and snorkelling by Cistern Point.

DAY 10

After breakfast, we will sail with the wind towards Salt Island. Close to the shore of the island, there is a wreck of the Royal Mail Steamship, "Rhone" which sunk during a storm in 1867. The shipwreck is very well-preserved, located in a shallow water, and accessible with the snorkelling equipment. Early in the afternoon, we will sail to Trellis Bay, sigthsee the local area, and reunite for the farewell dinner at the restaurant built by a famous Polish sailor, Władysław Wagner, who cruised on the yacht called „Zjawa” before the WWII. The following day, we will leave Tortola.
